I was contacted by the psychedelic rock band Nerbuda to create the cover illustration for their single “Chicken,” part of their album “Rastros.” The song is a reinterpretation of “Chicken in The Corn” by Brushy One String, the Jamaican singer who went viral on YouTube in 2013 for his unique performance style, playing a one-string guitar with incredible groove and soul.

Nerbuda’s version completely reinvents the original, blending funky, strong rock sounds with a 1970s psychedelic style, turning the song into a vibrant musical experience.

In the illustration, I represented Brushy One String while his guitar begins to sprout green psychedelic feathers, his sound materializes into abstract forms floating in the air, and the wall behind him starts to melt, capturing the essence of Nerbuda’s version: a creative explosion and a living force of transformation.
