Matías Anguita and Constanza form the musical duo “Elua Sei”, blending pop, psychedelia, and electronic music with influences from rock and blues. Their lyrics explore timeless themes inspired by Eastern texts and philosophies. They discovered my work during an exhibition, and later invited me to create the cover art for their new album “Trances”.

After listening to the album several times, I began noting its essential themes and the images that emerged when closing my eyes and being fully present with the music. I sought to capture not only the meaning of their lyrics but also the emotion and imagination evoked by their sound.

From this process, I create a visual metaphor about opening and deconstructing the self in order to move beyond the ordinary. It represents the journey toward authenticity: releasing external authorities and traditional ideals, and daring to become an uncertain being that merges with the uncertainty of existence to find their own way to freedom.
